Our Mission
To provide a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach to care.
What We Do
We work together, with children and young people, encouraging them to begin the process of moving through their trauma and allowing them a safe space to build rapport, form attachments and feel confident to transition out of survival mode.
We nurture and encourage young people to develop their identity and sense of self, fostering their physical, emotional, social and psychological well being to better themselves and their future lives. We create a space where children and young people can re-establish their understanding of family life and provide opportunities for them to create and achieve their goals.
Our Work
At Treehouse we craft an environment that is child centred and aimed at keeping sibling groups together during the difficult process of being placed into care. Intentionally and intensively building rapport and trust and creating new attachments, we uphold the rights of the child/young person. Providing these children/young people access to role models who are trauma informed and have an understanding of their physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive and moral development needs.
